Jolt Engineering was founded by Chad Buccine, P.E. in 2017. After 10 years on the EPC and procurement side of the solar industry, hiring engineers, managing installations, and watching designs fail in the field, Chad built the firm he wished had existed when he was the client.

Meet Chad Buccine, P.E.
Chad Buccine is the Founder and Principal Engineer of Jolt Engineering. He spent the first decade of his career on the EPC and procurement side of the commercial solar industry, hiring engineering firms, managing installations, and experiencing firsthand what happens when designs aren't built for the field.
In 2017, he founded Jolt Engineering to solve the exact problems he'd experienced as a client. Today, Chad personally leads every project. Clients work directly with the engineer responsible for their plan set, not an account manager.
At Jolt, Chad is involved in every project. Not as a signature on the cover sheet, but as the engineer who reviews the plans. That means when an AHJ pushes back, when a utility flags an interconnection issue, or when a site condition changes the structural calc, the person who stamped those drawings is the person solving the problem. Chad holds active PE licenses across key US commercial solar markets.
