The booking page connects you directly with Chad Buccine, P.E., Jolt Engineering's Founder and Principal Engineer. Your initial conversation is not routed through a sales account manager; you speak with the licensed engineer who will be responsible for your project's engineering.

What should I discuss on an engineering consultation call?

Accepted Answer

Useful topics include project location, system type and size, current design stage, AHJ, serving utility, equipment, permitting status, deadlines, existing drawings, known engineering problems, and whether the project includes solar, BESS, or EV charging.

What information should I have ready before booking a call?

Accepted Answer

If available, have the project address, system size, site or architectural drawings, electrical information, equipment selections, existing plan sets, utility information, and any AHJ or utility comments. A call can still be useful if some of these items are not yet available.

Can I book a call about a failed plan set from another engineering firm?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Engineering rework is a core Jolt service. Providing the existing plan set along with any AHJ, utility, or field comments will make it easier to discuss the likely corrective scope and what a corrected, PE-stamped package will require.

Should I book a call before selecting solar or BESS equipment?

Accepted Answer

For complex commercial projects, early engineering involvement can help identify compatibility, electrical, code, interconnection, service-capacity, and site constraints before equipment decisions become difficult or expensive to change.

How do I know whether Jolt is a fit for my project?

A call is appropriate if you need commercial or industrial solar, BESS, EV charging, permit engineering, PE-stamped plans, interconnection engineering documentation, or rework. Jolt does not position itself as a residential solar engineering provider or an interconnection application-management company.
